- Story Text: Michael Bay became part of Hollywood history on Tuesday (May 23), placing his hands and feet in cement at Los Angeles' iconic TCL Chinese Theatre.
The director, who is known for his effects-laden blockbusters like "Bad Boys" and the "Transformers" franchise, said he was particularly honored because it was at the Chinese Theatre where he first dreamed of entering show business.
"It just brings you back to your childhood. I mean, because as a kid I would come here, put my hands, little hands in the prints and this is where I decided I wanted to be director, was watching "Raiders of the Lost Ark" in this very theater. And it's kind of a bittersweet thing."
Bay was joined at the ceremony by Anthony Hopkins, who stars in the latest "Transformers" movie, "Transformers: The Last Knight," which opens in theaters in late June. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
