- Story Text: Loud trumpets and guitars took over the silent streets of Prague on Friday (June 2) as hundreds of people marched through the city's Old Town quarter in colourful dresses and horse carriages to celebrate the traditional World Roma Festival or Khamoro.
Celebrated since 1999, the Khamoro is the largest professional Roma festival. This year around 300 artists from 16 different countries performed at the event.
The five-day-long festival is one of the most prestigious Roma events on an international level with top Roma musicians performing. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
