- Story Text: Britain's Prince Harry started his two-day visit to Singapore on Sunday (June 4) meeting children in local community centre and breaking the fast with Muslim community.
Jamiyah's Children Home, an Islamic foundation aiming to empower underprivileged children greeted Prince Harry with traditional Malay welcoming ceremony followed by a Malay martial art performance.
Harry later joined the community of over hundred Muslim devotees for Iftar, the traditional Ramadan's evening meal to break the fast.
This is Harry's first visit to Singapore, who is scheduled to play in the annual fundraising Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup on Monday (June 5). Sentebale is a charity launched by Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in 2006 to help vulnerable children and young people affected by HIV AIDS in Lesotho and Botswana in southern Africa. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
