- Story Text: Thousands of cheering fans gathered on Sunday (June 4) night at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid to celebrate the club's 12th Champions League title with the players and the their coach Zinedine Zidane after their 4-1 victory over Juventus in Cardiff on Saturday (June 3).
Real Madrid became the first team to retain the trophy in the competition's expanded format, demonstrating their power over the rest of Europe.
Zidane led his team to the club's first La Liga and Champions League double since 1958 after they saw off the threat of Barcelona to earn the Spanish title too, but they will not rest on their laurels. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
