- Title: Jack Black jokes around at "Jumanji" photocall
- Date: 19th June 2017
- Summary: VARIOUS OF BLACK SPEAKING TO PRESS (SOUNDBITE) (English) ACTOR, JACK BLACK, ASKED IF HE SAW THE ORIGINAL, SAYING: "No I didn't see it at the time, it came out like '95 and I was busy with other things at the time but when I was offered the role about a year ago I went back and watched it with my boys cos I got a 9 and 11 year old and we all loved it, it's such a great kids movie you know it's action, adventure, comedy all mixed together so beautifully and Robin Williams is just a genius and I think he's at the peak of his powers there, I have seen him in a lot of movies and this is honestly one of my favourites because it's an insane desperate character you Know bigger than life situation, you know he has been in the jungle for 25 years and he's gone completely mad and that's when Robin Williams really thrived the most he needed those big characters to capture his insane energy." (SOUNDBITE) (English) ACTOR, JACK BLACK, SAYING: "Well the main difference between this and the original is that in the original you know that Robin Williams' character gets sucked into the game and he's in the jungle and he's a little boy when he goes in and he is a 35-year-old man when he comes out but you never get to see what it was like for this little boy trying to survive in the jungle all that time you don't see you have to just imagine it - in this one we actually travel with the characters into the jungle and it's gorgeous and treacherous and exciting."

"Jumanji: Welcome to The Jungle" follows in the footsteps of the original 1995 action-adventure, which was led by the late Robin Williams.

Black and Jonas were in Spain for Cine Europe 2017, an annual cinema convention.
