- Story Text: Residents of flood-hit southwestern Japan continued clean up efforts on Sunday (July 9), clearing away debris and mud brought by the calamity earlier in the week.
Heavy machinery was used to remove wood and other large things which had washed onto residential areas. Police and firefighters were still looking for the missing.
