- Story Text: Sweltering heat has not deterred tourists visiting Italy's capital on Monday (July 10), with water and shade effectively used by many to cope.
Tourists could be seen in large numbers visiting the Roman Forum under a scorching sun, using umbrellas or resting under the shade of the ancient ruins.
Despite temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius and high humidity, thousands could be seen queuing to get in the Vatican Museums or walking through the city finding relief in its notorious fountains. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
