- Story Text:Former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry stood by at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission in Nairobi on Wednesday (August 9) as election results began to trickle in.
Kerry, heading the U.S. election observer mission said voters were taking the election "very very seriously" on Tuesday (August 8).
He was seen chatting to other observers including former Senegalese Prime Minister Aminata Toure and former South African Leader Thabo Mbeki.
