But I mean I think it is quintessentially - you know, the thing about New York in the movie and New York in general, is those of us who live here we love it and we have all this, you know, complicated relationship to it. But New York exists for people all over the world whether they've been there or not. And they feel like they own a piece of it and there is the myth of New York and the reality of New York and I think that's part of what the movie's about." NIXON SPEAKING TO REPORTER (SOUNDBITE) (English) CYNTHIA NIXON, ACTRESS, SAYING: (RUMORS ON RUNNING FOR GOVERNOR OF NEW YORK) "Well, yes, I really can't say much about it." [REPORTER QUESTION: Have you ever thought about a career in politics?" "People have talked to me about it, people have talked to me before. So, yes." VARIOUS OF KATE BECKINSALE POSING FOR PICTURES (SOUNDBITE) (English) KATE BECKINSALE, ACTRESS, SAYING: (ON ASSUMING THE MISTRESS BEING THE BAD PERSON IN THE MOVIE) "Right, he's the one that's married though. So that's one of the other things I found just socially quite interesting is that everyone's asking me about, 'oh, what's it like playing this woman?' They're never asking Pierce what's it like playing a man who's cheating on his wife, because that's almost somehow given. So that's been quite interesting." MORE OF BECKINSALE POSING FOR PICTURES VARIOUS OF JEFF BRIDGES POSING FOR PICTURES BRIDGES SPEAKING TO REPORTER (SOUNDBITE) (English) JEFF BRIDGES, ACTRESS, SAYING: (ON MOVIE BEING SIMILAR TO 'THE GRADUATE') "Yes, I can see the comparison. I think it's a wonderful ride, you know, I love going to movies and the kind of movies that I like to see - or the ones I like to participate in are ones where the filmmaker is ahead of you. You think you know what's going to happen and something else happens. I love that." BRIDGES POSING FOR PICTURES WITH CALLUM TURNER KIERSEY CLEMONS POSING FOR PICTURES (SOUNDBITE) (English) KIERSEY CLEMONS, ACTRESS, SAYING: (ON HER TATTOO) "I know and I always end up with like the deep v-cut dresses I think subconsciously I'm trying to show it off. I love my tattoo." MORE OF CLEMONS POSING FOR PICTURES (SOUNDBITE) (English) KIERSEY CLEMONS, ACTRESS, SAYING: (ON BECKINSALE HELPING HER ON SET) "I had a panic attack on set. When we were doing the wedding scene I got really overwhelmed by all the people. And like a normal person I was just having a hard day. And she (Kate Beckinsale) said everyone has panic attacks, if you fall out on the floor, I'll fall out on the floor with you. And it was like this amazing, like womanly support that you don't often get and it was really nice to have on set of a movie." DIRECTOR MARC WEBB POSING FOR PICTURES WEBB SPEAKING TO REPORTER (SOUNDBITE) (English) MARC WEBB, DIRECTOR, SAYING: (ON THE TITLE OF THE MOVIE) "Well, I mean, it wasn't really about the song but there was a vibe, there was a feeling that was sort of nostalgic and sweet. And that helped inform the world. I wanted this - I've been saying is, it's the New York I imagined New York to be before I every moved to New York. And there is something beautiful and there is something romantic, there is also something very wistful about it. And I think, I hope that attitude carries though in the film." STEP AND REPEAT
