- Story Text:Being a Beatles fan 46 years after their breakup was too hard for a man from the Czech Republic, who used digitally edited words collected from various songs by the legendary band to compose his own tune.
26 years-old David Novotny presented his song "I Know My Love/We're Still Together" to an audience of journalists and a representative of a Czech organisation registering local record-breaking attempts.
"The song tells about the Beatles members having troubles with love but in the refrain they find out that it doesn't matter and that the main thing is that the four are still together," Novotny said about his song.
Novotny spent hours splitting audio tracks of 30 Beatles songs and picking single words to use for his own composition.
He says that the idea came to him when he heard a vocal track of the band and started tinkering around with it.
"I realised that singing is possible with the right recording software - changing the tones, shortening or lengthening the words, and I thought why not try it with just Beatles singing?"
Novotny is now preparing for the second part of his Beatles project, which will include an album of songs sung by him tilted In the Beatles Style. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
