- Story Text: International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde arrived at Chubu International Airport on Wednesday (May 25) ahead of the annual leader's summit of Group of Seven Industrialised Nations (G7).
Issues on global economies and measures to tackle terrorism are expected to be discussed in the two-day meeting in the Ise-Shima region in central Japan's Mie Prefecture.
Lagarde will join other world leaders including U.S. President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in the meeting.
