The three-day summit kicked off on Thursday (May 19), with a welcoming reception hosted by Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso, and Bank of Japan President, Haruhiko Kuroda.
The health of the world economy is expected to be a major focus during the summit, and the topic of tax evasion and avoidance will likely be discussed also, in the wake of the so-called "Panama Papers."
