- Story Text:Acclaimed Japanese director Hirokazu Koreeda hit the Cannes red carpet once again with his latest drama "After the Storm".
Members of Koreeda's cast, including Yoko Maki, Hiroshi Abe and Kirin Kiki, also attended and posed for photographs before heading into the Palais de Festivals.
"After the Storm" is showing in the 'Un Certain Regard' category at the festival. The story revolves around a once prize-winning author, who has failed to produce anything for fifteen years, sliding into gambling and being left by his wife and child.
This is the sixth time Koreeda is in Cannes, having won the Jury Prize in the main competition with "Like Father, Like Son" in 2013. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
