- Story Text: Reality stars, actresses and internet dogs all came together for the 20th Annual Webby Awards in New York on Monday (May 16).
Kim Kardashian West picked up the Break the Internet prize for her social media presence, while her husband, Kanye West, who did not attend, was named Webby Artist of the Year.
Actress Jessica Alba, received the Entrepreneur of the Year award for The Honest Company, which she founded in 2011.
Six months after launching the website "Lenny Letter," actress Lena Dunham and director Jenni Konner are picking up one of their first awards, New Founders of the Year.
The newsletter offers readers a wide range of female voices that talk about everything from beauty products to politics.
The duo will continue their good fortune on Tuesday as they mark yet another milestone for Lenny Letter.
"One of the people who've we wanted to have write for us from the beginning did it. And so that's really thrilling," said Dunham proudly.
The ceremony requires winners to accept their awards with a five word acceptance speech, something Best Actress winner, Krysten Ritter said is harder than you think.
"You would think, 'oh, that makes it easier,' but it doesn't. I've been enlisting the help from a lot of other people for ideas."
The annual ceremony honors outstanding achievement on the internet including the best online videos, apps, sites, social media and more. The winners are selected by a group of 2,000 experts in various fields from music to coders that live in 30 different countries.
