- Story Text: Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah met Chinese Premier Li Keqiang for talks in Beijing on Monday (May 16).
Abdullah's visit began with a welcome ceremony held for him by Li at the Great Hall of the People where he inspected the guard of honour.
The two sat down for talks with both Chinese and Afghan delegates present.
They later oversaw a signing ceremony in which trade and economic, technical, as well agricultural agreements were signed.
Abdullah arrived in Beijing on Sunday (May 15) and is due to depart on Wednesday (May 18), state-run news agency Xinhua said. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
