- Story Text: U.S. actress Blake Lively appeared at the Cannes film festival on Friday (May 13) for her latest movie 'The Shallows'.
The film, which was shot in Australia, follows Lively's character Nancy, a professional surfer, who ends up stranded on a rock far from shore after she is attacked by a great white shark.
She must then try to return to shore and work out a way to survive in shark-infested waters.
The pregnant star is expecting her second child with fellow actor and husband Ryan Reynolds.
