Rapper Azealia Banks unleashed a series of racists, verbal jabs on pop star Zayn Malik and Disney channel star Skai Jackson on Twitter after accusing the former of stealing ideas and the latter for criticizing her online behavior on Tuesday (May 10).
Banks, who many refer to as a resident Twitter nuisance, said that Malik copied some of her looks from a previous music video in his latest video, "Like I Would."
Without directly mentioning Banks on Twitter, just before 5 p.m., Malik (@zaynmalik) tweeted, "no lies... I see you reaching but I don't care," and, "my @s too good for you."
Tossing homophobic and racial slurs at Malik, Banks (@AZELIABANKS), who has since deleted her series of tweets, fired back, "@zaynmalik dude, I make better music than you. Simmer down with that fake white boy rebellion and that wannabe Beiber swag," referring to his time as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Banks continued her rant, calling him the n-word and insulting his Pakistani background. More than an hour later, 14-year-old Skai Jackson (@skaijackson), who stars in the Disney channel sitcom "Jessie," tweeted, "Azealia Banks need to simmer down a little."
Shortly after, Banks began attacking Jackson.
"And you need to grow some hips and start ur menses. Stay in a child's place," tweeted Banks.
Jackson responded shortly after by tweeting, "when a no hip having 14-year-old has more class than you. Worry about your career. Get one." She continued to defend herself online in what many are calling an epic Twitter battle where Banks lost.
Jackson tweeted, "@AZEALIABANKS you got dissed by a one directioner how miserable can your life be?? Now have several seats Azealia Stanks!"
Banks has become widely known for her racist Twitter rants in recent years, attacking artists like Beyonce and Iggy Azelea and even politician Sarah Palin in the past. The Harlem rapper has also publicly endorsed Donald Trump for president in recent weeks.
Her inconsistent and often offensive tweets online has angered many and has the potential of harming her infant career.
YouTube personality Hunter Herring (@HuntHerring) tweeted on Wednesday, "When you get dragged by a Disney star... You know your career is dead @SkaiJackson handled that well tho #AzealiaBank."
Wednesday morning, Rinse FM, a London radio station, announced on Twitter that they have canceled her headline appearance at its music festival, Born and Bred Festival, this summer.
Rinse GM (@RinseFM) tweeted a photo announcement stating, "Born & Bred Festival is a celebration of rave culture and has been created for EVERYONE. We celebrate inclusivity and equality." - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
