- Story Text:In Iran, a new list of members of the toppled Shah's regime who are wanted under criminal charges has been announced on Tuesday (27 March). The list includes politicians and members of parliament, as well as judges and army personnel. This new list comes at a time when international criticism of the provisional Islamic Government is mounting over alleged political prisoners in Iran's jails. But in an interview with Visnews, the Ayatollah khomeini's spokesman Dr. Ibrahim Yasdi insisted there are no political prisoners under the present government but people held under charges on torture and murder -- notably members of the Shah's secret police SAVAK.
