Civil defence volunteers, national guardsmen and the people who live here began cleaning up today. There was scattered damage throughout the area, but the worst was at a mobile home court on the east side of town. Two women were killed here and a man critically injured. Those who went through it told of the terrifying experience." INTERVIEW: "All of a sudden my window lights started crashing and the glass was going around my head like a ... like ... it was terrific, I can't just tell you how bad it was." NOLAN: "The people who live in the trailer court came back today to try to salvage some of their belongings. There wasn't much left. A warning siren sounded here about half an hour before the tornado hit ... it gave residents a chance to get out, or take cover. Without this warning, more people might have been killed.
