- Story Text:Arsene Wenger has warned his Arsenal side not to be complacent with their three-goal lead over CSKA Moscow heading into the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final on Thursday (April 12).
Wenger's comments come after Roma's shock 3-0 win to knock Barcelona out of the Champions League quarter-finals, despite the Catalans winning 4-1 in the first leg.
Arsenal leads the tie after beating the Russian side 4-1 in London and will be hoping to progress as far as they can in Europe's second-tier competition.
With the North London side languishing in sixth and 13 points from the fourth spot in the league, the Europa League remains Arsenal's only hope to qualify for next year's Champion's League and for silverware.
The Frenchman also addressed current political tensions with Russia saying 'sport can play a positive role,' in international relations. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
