Summary:A cold January morning in London - clouded even more by the death of Sir Winston Churchill. The great British wartime leader, who died two months after his 90th birthday, was awarded a State funeral. At the funeral service in St. Paul's Cathedral were Sir Winston's family, the British Royal family, and representatives of 112 countries including five sovereigns, six other Heads of State, and sixteen Prime Ministers. London's last farewell, as the coffin was borne back by launch up the River Thames. It was then taken by train to Bladon, a tiny Oxfordshire village. There, Sir Winston was laid to rest with his parents. His grave, in the country churchyard, has drawn visitors from all over the world.
