- Story Text:Bolivian President Evo Morales commented on Wednesday (September 05) on tensions with Chile as the two countries continue to negotiate Bolivia's demand for "sovereign access" to the Pacific Ocean.
Morales said that Chile unilaterally suspended a meeting to discuss border issues, and said, "Chile, unfortunately, has a policy of delay."
Bolivia's Minister of Justice, Hector Arce Zaconeta, wrote on his twitter account that Chile's actions represented "the final break of Chilean diplomacy."
The South American neighbours have been engaged in a legal case at the International Court of Justice in The Hague since 2013, when landlocked Bolivia filed proceedings demanding that Chile grant it access to the Pacific Ocean. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
