We had so many things to talk about and catch up on and the music industry and life and we remained good friends ever since. I do know that when I left, I thought, 'Oh my gosh, I had no idea he was so nice and so gentle and so passionate about what he does.'" BUBLE'S WIFE LUISANA LOPILATO AND MOTHER, AMBER SANTAGA, WATCHING THE CEREMONY (SOUNDBITE) (English) MUSIC PRODUCER DAVID FOSTER SAYING: "He's an amazing father and husband and he has ADD worse than anybody I've ever met in my life. I had to say some bad shit about you somewhere in there. Like it says in my ad in Variety, 'Sinatra, Martin, Crosby, David Junior, Darin, Torme, Bennett, Buble.' That's the way history will always write it because he's a little like all of them but he's not a copy of any of them. He is uniquely Buble." CLOSE UP OF STAR, PAN UP TO MICHAEL BUBLE POSING WITH THE STAR WIDE OF THE CEREMONY WITH BUBLE TALKING (SOUNDBITE) (English) MICHAEL BUBLE SAYING: "My record being out today and having a star, here on the Walk of Fame, I have personally never felt so self-important before. It's funny, you know, because I want to get off this because I struggled with this today and I think everyone in this business struggles with not mixing up who you are with what you do and trying to separate your ego from your spirit because they are two very different things." MEDIA FILMING (SOUNDBITE) (English) MICHAEL BUBLE SAYING: "I will find every excuse possible to visit my star and then I will walk around the star hoping someone will recognize that it is me and my star but without trying to look too desperate. It's going to be a fine line, I don't know how I'm going to balance that but it's going to be a lot of this kind of stuff like, 'Hey, that's Michael Buble there! Woah! He's pretty good. Don't spit on it because Michael Buble's here.'" MEDIA FILMING, PAN TO MICHAEL BUBLE DOING PUSH UPS ON HIS STAR, KISSING IT AND THEN SITTING BY IT

- Story Text: Grammy-winning crooner Michael Buble has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday (November 16). The unveiling coincides with the release of his latest album, "Love."
He told the crowd: "I struggled with this today and I think everyone in this business struggles with not mixing up who you are with what you do and trying to separate your ego from your spirit because they are two very different things."
After the ceremony, Buble joked with Reuters: "I will find every excuse possible to visit my star and then I will walk around the star hoping someone will recognize that it is me and my star but without trying to look too desperate. It's going to be a fine line, I don't know how I'm going to balance that but it's going to be a lot of this kind of stuff like, 'Hey, that's Michael Buble there! Woah! He's pretty good. Don't spit on it because Michael Buble's here.'"
Canadian Buble, 43, recently dismissed reports published in the Daily Mail that he was retiring from music. He's sold over 60 million records worldwide, performed hundreds of sold-out shows around the globe, and won four Grammys and multiple Juno Awards during the course of his career. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
