- Story Text: Thousands of red balloons were released into the sky over Sao Paulo on Friday (November 30) ahead of World AIDS Day.
The director of the Emilio Ribas laboratory, Luiz Carlos, said that they have noted an uptick in new cases.
"We see an increase in the number of carriers, cases of new diagnoses, both in the LGBT community and in women. Our concern, which we are debating now, little by little, to think this communication better, in the sense of being able to prevent the advancement of HIV."
