So I feel, these two have to be the biggest gains." WHITE FLASH (SOUNDBITE) (English) INDIA'S TEST CAPTAIN, VIRAT KOHLI, SAYING: "Rankings are something that just is an incentive for what you do on the field. I didn't even know how many points difference we had to be number one. We just want to win every game that we play - it as simple as that. It doesn't mean that we take the foot off the pedal in Indore." REPORTERS ARRIVING IN A ROOM (SOUNDBITE) (English) NEW ZEALAND STAND-IN SKIPPER, ROSS TAYLOR, SAYING: "We were able to control the run rate, I thought, in the first innings. Where in that second innings, you know they played very well and took the game to us. Anytime I'm over here that's a factor. Then we weren't able to restrict them but hopefully, we can do that better in the next match."

- Story Text: Test captain Virat Kohli hailed wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha's efforts after India crushed New Zealand by 178 runs in the second test on Monday (October 3) to clinch the three-match series and reclaim top spot in the world rankings from Pakistan.
Saha scored two fifties in the match at critical juncture to take India to commanding positions, which earned him the man of the match award.
Chasing 376 for victory, the touring side were bundled out for 197 in fading light on the fourth day at Eden Gardens to give India an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
Kohli singled out Jadeja and Saha's contributions for the victory.
"As a captain, I think, the contributions by (Ravindra) Jadeja in the first game and Saha here, Saha has been doing really well this year, I wish him well to keep going and obviously wicketkeeper coming good for you is an added bonus. So I feel these two have to be the biggest gains," Kohli said after the match.
India will return to the top of the International Cricket Council test rankings irrespective of the result of the third and final test in Indore which starts on Saturday (October 8).
Kohli downplayed rankings, saying winning matches was more important.
"Rankings are something that just is an incentive for what you do on the field. I didn't even know how many points difference we had to be number one. We just want to win every game that we play - it as simple as that. It doesn't mean that we take the foot off the pedal in Indore," Kohli added.
New Zealand stand-in skipper, Ross Taylor, said he was disappointed by his team's inability to restrict India in the second innings and hoped for better performance in the next match.
"We were able to control the run rate, I thought, in the first innings. Where in that second innings, you know they played very well and took the game to us. Anytime I'm over here that's a factor. Then we weren't able to restrict them but hopefully, we can do that better in the next match," Taylor said. - Copyright Holder: ANI (India)
