During their game against Bradford (Park Avenue) they wore shirts bearing the message, 'Football v Homophobia', aiming to raise awareness of discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
Altrincham, a town near Manchester in the north of England, are a non-league side who play in the National League North.
