- Story Text: Relatives of Chinese citizens who died in the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash arrived at the crash site to pay tribute to their loved ones on Wednesday (March 13).
Family members wept as they unveiled portraits of those who died and laid floral tributes.
Flight ET 302 crashed on Sunday (March 10), just after take-off from Addis Ababa en route to Nairobi, killed 157 people.
The plane's passengers and crew came from more than 30 different nations, and included nearly two dozen United Nations staff.
Ethiopian Airlines has grounded its four other 737 MAX 8 jets as a precaution and multiple nations, including the European Union, have suspended the 737 MAX, leading to the grounding of about two-thirds of the 371 jets of that make in operation around the world, according to Reuters calculations.
