  • Story Text:File footage shows the events that unfolded after the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines MH370 as the fourth anniversary approaches.
    Flight MH370 disappeared en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8, 2014 with 239 people, mostly Chinese, on board. Australia, China and Malaysia ended a fruitless search in January last year.
    A U.S.-based exploration firm, Ocean Infinity, has started the new search in a bid to solve one of the world's greatest aviation mysteries.
    Malaysia agreed in January to pay Ocean Infinity, who owns Seabed Constructor, up to $70 million if it finds the plane within 90 days.
    Investigators believe someone may have deliberately switched off the transponder of the Boeing 777 before diverting it over the Indian Ocean. Several pieces of aircraft debris have been collected from Indian Ocean islands and along Africa's east coast, with at least three being confirmed as being from the missing plane.
