The best of the internet was honored at the 23rd Annual Webby Awards on Monday (May 13) in New York.
Actor Michael Douglas took home the Webby Special Achievement Award for his role as Sandy Kominsky in "The Kominsky Method". Only allowed five words for an acceptance speech, Douglas said, "My kids think it's hilarious."
Actor and producer Issa Rae won the Webby Video Person of the Year Award, and comedian Hasan Minhaj accepted the Webby Special Achievement Award.
Climate change activist Greta Thunberg and anti-bulling activist Monica Lewinsky were also awarded. Thunberg used her five word allotment to say, "Act now or face disaster".
