- Story Text:Some 100 couples tied the knot at a mass wedding ceremony sponsored by the Lima city government on Friday (July 12) according to local media.
Love was in the air as Lima's mayor Jorge Munoz presided over the ceremony where newlyweds shared their magical moment with dozens of others couples.
74-year-old Elsa Yarasca Davila was the oldest bride at the event. She has been with her partner, Guillermo, for more than 53 years and the mass wedding turned out to be the perfect occasion for them both to finally say, "I do."
