German supermodel Heidi Klum, who has strutted from the runway to entrepreneur and reality TV host, is striking back at U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for saying 'She's no longer a 10' in a recent New York Times interview.
Klum shot back on her Instagram with a video showing the former supermodel in a mock photo shoot with a sign reading '10' on her shirt.
After a few photos a man with a Donald Trump mask enters the scene and rips off the '10' to reveal a '9.99'.
Klum, nicknamed "The Body" for her statuesque figure, has carved out a career beyond modeling, as the host of Lifetime's fashion series "Project Runway" and "Germany's Next Top Model."
Most recently Donald Trump made comments about Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly that have been widely interpreted as referring to her menstrual cycle.
A new Reuters/Ipsos poll suggests Trump - who has dominated coverage of the 2016 election with a series of flame-throwing comments about illegal Mexican immigrants, the war record of Senator John McCain and Kelly - may in fact still be leading among women Republican supporters.
Trump's outspokenness is his most important quality, according to the women who like him.
To be sure, many of the women interviewed were vehemently opposed to Trump's behavior. And the Reuters/Ipsos poll, conducted between Aug. 7 and Aug. 11, appeared to show female support for Trump waning slightly, falling to 20 percent from 26 percent on Aug. 3. The poll had a credibility interval of 7.1 percentage points. - Copyright Holder: FILE REUTERS (CAN SELL)
