Summary:The funeral of Colonel Virgil Grissom, the first, of three American astronauts killed in a fire aboard an Apollo capsule, to be buried, took place at the Arlington National Cemetery. An eight-man board investigating the fire, later criticised poor workmanship and deficiencies in the spacecraft's design, engineering and manufacture.
