Beata Jasek is currently the holder of the Guinness world record for making the most dumplings in one hour, by hand.
Her magic number? 1,066 dumplings or pierogis in Polish. That's one pierogi every 3.4 seconds.
She has broken her own record from 2017 which was 756 pierogis per hour.
For 46-year-old Jasek, who works in a restaurant in the Polish town of Iwkowa, there are a few tricks of the trade - the type of dough, the stuffing, and of course, good old-fashioned pressure.
"The type of dough is very important, the stuffing is very important, and if someone is hungry, you have to quickly feed them," Jasek said.
Jasek lives and works in nearby Krakow. But she spent much of her childhood in Iwkowa where her grandmother taught her how to make this tasty traditional Polish dumpling filled with cabbage and cloves and topped with caramelised onion and sour cream.
Other versions are filled with meat or potato or cheese, spinach or salmon.
And there is the sweet version with cherries or blueberries.
Every morning in the restaurant kitchen, Jasek rolls out her magic and produces 2,500 dumplings every day for hungry guests.
And they all leave full and happy.
"It was really good, really good texture, you can really taste the cheese, the onions are caramelized, so nice and sweet, so it's a good variety of flavours, so really, really good," said tourist Melanie Rivera from the U.S.
"It's exactly what I thought pierogies would taste like, like authentic pierogies, it's very, very good, being from the States, you would eat pierogies, but this is the real deal, it's really good, it's like she said, the onion, the caramelized onion is phenomenal," added Brittany, another tourist from the U.S.
In Iwkowa, Jasek has achieved celebrity status, earning her the title "pierogi queen."
But there is so much more to making pierogis.
For Jasek the discipline behind making these dumplings and meeting people who have tasted them are life lessons she values.
"Training makes perfect. In every profession, you can be really good, as well as in life. You can't give up, you have to collect good experiences all the time, you have to meet good people in life because that's the most important, later you can beat records in many things," Jasek said.
