- Story Text: Dozens of shirtless Santas warmed up for the holiday season by running through the freezing central streets of the Russian Urals city of Yekaterinburg on Sunday (December 29), much to the surprise of residents.
Braving temperatures of minus 15 degrees Celsius, the festive runners sang songs, danced and handed out sweets and tangerines along the way.
It is the third time that the Sverdlovsk Region Winter Swimming Federation has held the event.
After spending just over an hour outside, the participants hit the sauna by the city's Lake Shartash.
