- Story Text:A South Korean rescue team searching for missing trekkers in Nepal with their drone technology said on Friday (January 24) that they had temporarily suspended the search operation due to adverse weather conditions.
Rescuers began digging through several feet snow at two mountainside locations in Nepal on Tuesday (January 21) where four South Korean trekkers and three Nepali guides are thought to be trapped, officials said.
Member of KT Drone Rescue Team, Kim Yong-soo who pulled out their team on Thursday (January 23) from the avalanche area said that he did not know when the search operation at the scene could be resumed but they were continuously making a search plan with local rescue team.
