- Story Text: Passengers on board of Oman air flight flying from Zurich to Muscat spoke of their horrifying experience on Sunday (February 9) after the aircraft was forced into emergency landing in southeast Turkish province of Diyarbakir due to a "cabin pressurization fault".
One of the passengers, Belinda Pfister, recorded the terrifying moments on her mobile, as the plane readied to land in Diyarbakir.
"We were really scared and we didn't know what was going on, what happened. And suddenly the masks came down and we pulled down our oxygen masks. We put the masks on and the people were very scared," Pfister told Reuters.
"The cabin pressurization required our aircraft to take a pre-cautionary landing at Diyarbakir, Turkey, which was completed safely." Oman air said in a written statement.
It said passengers were checked-in at local hotels and a replacement aircraft was dispatched to Diyarbakir to resume the flight.
