- Story Text: Germany evacuated over 400 citizens on Thursday (March 26) via a special Lufthansa flight from India which is under a three-week lockdown to stem the spread of coronavirus.
The German citizens left for their home in the wee hours of Wednesday from Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.
Germany, one of Europe's hardest-hit countries by coronavirus, is also under virtual lockdown, with 36, 508 confirmed cases and 198 deaths.
