Summary:When the Beatles started, they were like hundreds of other groups bursting on to the music scene talented but disorganised. The man who masterminded their rise to the very top in a world of superstars was Brian Epstein. He and the Beatles met in 1961 when they were playing in Liverpool clubs. In six years, he made them multi- millionaires. But on August 27 1967, Epstein died.
