Summary:The Ussuri river in China, just one of several disputed border areas between the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China. After several reported border incidents in which the Chinese claimed Soviet troops attacked Chinese fishermen, Peking released this 'official' film as a record of some of the events in the disputed river area. The film shows an angry clash on September 24, 1967 between a Soviet river patrol and Chinese fishermen. Pravda, the official Soviet newspaper, later described the film as 'cinematic libel' angled to create an impression of Soviet aggression.
