Hundreds of people gathered in German cities on Saturday (June 6) to protest against racism, police violence and the death of George Floyd.
Floyd died after a police officer in Minneapolis knelt on his neck, an event that has set off the biggest anti-racism protests seen in the United States since the 1960s civil rights era.
In Munich, several hundred people wearing face masks protested at the city's famous Koenigsplatz, while Frankfurt protesters waved 'I can't breathe' waved banners calling for justice for Floyd.
Some of the protesters said their main reason to join the protest was because they felt there was a need to fight for equal rights.
Demonstrators have come out in cities around the world in solidarity with Floyd and to express anger over racism.
