- Story Text: A scaled down version of High-jump Legends, the biggest cliff-diving event in Central Europe, was held in Prague on Saturday (August 22).
Despite poor weather and a smaller than usual number of competitors and spectators due to the coronavirus restrictions, the event was adrenaline packed with divers plunging into the Vltava river from an old railway bridge in the Czech capital.
High-jump Legends, an annual extreme sports and music festival, was held for the 20th time this year. Previous editions of the event took place at an abandoned Hrimezdice quarry outside Prague and featured divers from around the world competing in 12, 16, 20 and 30-metre jumps.
This year, due to restrictions, a series of events were held at various locations around the Czech Republic with the best divers performing jumps from a 16-metre platform in the historic centre of Prague.
