- Story Text: Russian winter swimmers were enjoying the icy waters of the Moskva river at the north-west of the Russian capital on Saturday (February 13).
Plunging into a narrow channel cut into the frozen river surface and wearing only swimming suits in air temperatures of about minus 16 degrees Celsius, swimmers told Reuters that they felt fantastic.
The local winter swimming club's head Natalia Seraya added that their usual routine includes also winter running and snow bathing, and it helps them to build body and character.
