Story Text: Views from the sky show the headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva on Thursday (September 2).
The "Palais des Nations", built between 1929 and 1938, originally for the League of Nations, is home to several programmes, events and offices, such as the Human Rights Council and the Conference on Disarmament.
UN member flags line a garden in front of the building, facing the "Broken Chair", a statue by Swiss artist Daniel Berset.
