  • Story Text: British actors Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are engaged, various media outlets say.
    The couple could be seen holding hands as they posed for photos on the BAFTA red carpet on Sunday (March 13).
    According to media reports Hiddleston, 41, and Ashton, 37, have been dating for some three years.
    Hiddleston began his career in theatre, appearing in West End productions of "Cymbeline" in 2007, for which he won a Laurence Olivier award and "Ivanov" in 2008.
    The award-winning actor shot to fame when cast as charming antagonist Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He first appeared in the role in Kenneth Branagh's "Thor" (2011) and has since reprised the role five times.
    Ashton, an actor, playwright, and director from London is best known for her performance in the British TV series "Fresh Meat" and "Not Safe for Work". She has also joined the MCU and is due to appear in the 2023 film "The Marvels" which is currently in post-production.
    Hiddleston and Ashton have not publicly commented on the reports of their engagement.
