- Story Text:Bollywood thriller 'Major' and historical epic 'Samrat Prithviraj' starring veteran actor Akshay Kumar released in theatres across India on Friday (June 04) and both films received a warm response from moviegoers.
'Major' movie is based on the life of Indian major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was killed in action in the 2008 Mumbai attack. He was posthumously awarded India's highest peacetime Gallantry award the 'Ashok Chakra'.
"It's mind-blowing, it's a blast actually. I never accepted. Thanks to Adivi Sesh to make such kind(s) of movies. We got to know about Sandeep Unnikrishnan from the movie" said moviegoer Karan.
'Samrat Prithviraj' was also received warmly by the audience.
"Hands down the best periodic movie that I have seen " said moviegoer Siddharth.
