- Story Text:Giant fruits have adorned the front of London's Coronet Theatre as part of a month-long series of events celebrating South Korean arts.
Called "Tiger, Journey, Love", the installation of a massive inflatable strawberry, pomegranate, watermelon as well as pumpkin is by South Korean artist Choi Jeong Hwa, who is known for his large-scale outdoor sculptures made with balloons and consumer goods.
He told Reuters during an in interview on Thursday (August 25) that fruit brings "happiness and smiles" and that people liked to take photos of his works and post them on social networks to share "their own feelings".
“What is art? Your heart is my art,†the artist said.
From Friday (August 26), the Coronet Theatre in the city's Notting Hill area, is hosting "Tiger Is Coming", a season of events looking at the South Korean contemporary art, dance, theatre and music scenes.
It will run until October 1.
