- Story Text: Saudi families got to enjoy the ‘Disney on Ice’ performance, taking place in the capital Riyadh for the first time in the kingdom.
Running from August 25 until September 21, the show includes iconic Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and others.
Audience members, including children, were cheering and calling on the characters, in a closed VIP performance which took place on Wednesday (August 24).
“The best thing is that we now have such shows here. I used to travel with my family to attend such shows before but thank God the day has come where the shows are performed here,†young Saudi citizen, Hissah al-Sudais said.
