    Russian artillery hit downtown Kharkiv on Tuesday (August 30), leaving at least four people dead and eleven wounded, according to Kharkiv Region Prosecutor’s Office.
    The shelling hit multiple locations across Kharkiv, damaging administrative and multi-storey residential buildings, cars and a public restroom.
    “Some buildings sustained severe damages. Dozens of buildings were hit by shrapnel and other striking elements.” Said Dmytro Chubenko, a Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office spokesman.
    A local resident, Levhen, who was near the shelling said he hadn't been afraid.
    "It is the second time I am in such situation, and there is no fear," Ievhen told Reuters.
    Russia has repeatedly denied targeting civilian areas after launching what it called a "special military operation" in February, despite mounting evidence that its missiles have hit residential areas across the country.
