There are a dedicated, trained inflation team. They come to a few trainings per year so that they know how to inflate tourbillons. It's very specialized. Takes about 8 hours for us to inflate all day today. So about 8 hours and 100 people is what it takes to get our balloons up and ready for tomorrow morning." VARIOUS OF WORKERS INFLATING BALLOONS (SOUNDBITE) (English) MACY'S, DIRECTOR OF PRODUCTION OPERATIONS, KATHLEEN WRIGHT, SAYING: "So this year we have four new giant character balloons in the parade. We have Dino and Baby Dino from Sinclair. This is their third iteration of the Dino balloon. So we're so excited to have them back in the parade this year. We also have another iteration of our Greg Heffley balloon from Diary of a Wimpy Kid. This year, that balloon will also have a balloona call, which is a balloon on top of a vehicle that will go down the road in front of it. So that's very exciting. We also have Stuart, the Minion, a very big fan favorite, and Bluey. So we're really excited about all four of those new giant balloons that will be in the parade. We also have a very other cool unit to celebrate the U.S. men's soccer team being in the FIFA World Cup. So we have Striker, the U.S. soccer star. That is also a series of balloons and a balloona call. So a lot of new and exciting things that are going to be on our route this year." VARIOUS OF WORKERS INFLATING BALLOONS
