  • Story Text: Spain continued training preparations in Wellington on Wednesday (August 9) as their Women's World Cup quarter-final against the Netherlands looms.
    Having ended Group C second with a 4-0 humbling at the hands of Japan, Jorge Vilda´s chargers got their campaign back on track with a 5-1 victory over Switzerland in the last 16.
    Spain and the Netherlands meet on Friday (August 11) in an early kick-off, with the Dutch side unbeaten having topped their group that featured the U.S. and off the back of a solid 2-0 triumph against South Africa in their first knockout game.
